Why is a mineral sunscreen like this one better for acne-prone skin?

Our formula uses Zinc Oxide, a mineral filter that sits on top of the skin to reflect UV rays. Unlike some chemical filters that can clog pores or cause heat-related irritation, Zinc Oxide is known for its skin-calming properties. We’ve paired it with Jojoba Seed oil, which mimics the skin's natural oils to provide hydration without causing breakouts as well as Glycerin, a moisturizing humectant that supports healthy barrier function.

Will this sunscreen leave a "white cast" on my skin?

Because this contains a high percentage of Zinc Oxide (14.2%) for superior protection, you may notice a slight white tint upon initial application. However, we have formulated it with Polyhydroxystearic Acid to help the minerals distribute evenly. To minimize any cast, we recommend warming the product between your palms and blending it thoroughly into the skin.

Can I use this with the Acne Treatment Cleanser?
