Where does this fit into my PROVEN 3-Step System?

Think of this as your "Morning Boost." We recommend using the Vitamin C Serum as Step 2 in your morning routine:

  • Protect (PROVEN Day Moisturizer with SPF) Note: We recommend saving your Personalized Night Cream for your evening routine.
Can I layer it with other actives like retinol or acids?

We recommend introducing Vitamin C in the morning under your moisturizer and keep retinol at night. Acids can be used a few times a week as a first step at night, if tolerated.

  • Vitamin C + Retinol: Do not use them at the same time. Use Vitamin C in the morning to protect against environmental damage, and use your Retinol (Night Cream) in the evening to repair.
  • Vitamin C + Acids (AHAs/BHAs): If you use exfoliating acids, we recommend using them on alternate mornings or only at night. Layering strong acids with Vitamin C can overwhelm the skin barrier and lead to redness.
Can I mix this directly into my Night Cream or other serums?

No. We advise against mixing this serum directly into your jar of Night Cream or layering it with other PROVEN serums (like SkinSpecific formulas). Why? Your Night Cream is pH-balanced specifically for its own active ingredients (like Retinoids). Mixing in a potent Vitamin C can alter that pH balance, potentially reducing the efficacy of both products or causing skin irritation.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes. It’s formulated to work across most skin types, including normal, oily, combination, and mature skin.

How long until I see results?

While you may notice an immediate "glow" and hydration upon application, skincare is a marathon, not a sprint.

  • Radiance: Typically visible within 1-2 weeks of daily use.
  • Dark Spots & Pigmentation: Significant fading of dark spots usually requires 4–8 weeks of consistent use, combined with daily SPF protection.
How should I store it?

Keep it tightly closed and away from direct sunlight and heat to maintain Vitamin C stability.

Will it help with dark spots or uneven tone?

The blend of Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Licorice Root Extract helps improve the look of discoloration and supports a more even-toned, luminous looking complexion.

What is the "Gold Delivery System" and why does it matter?

Pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) is famous for being unstable—it oxidizes quickly and can lose effectiveness. Our formula uses Gold-Stabilized Ascorbic Acid paired with Glutathione.

  • Stability: The gold particles protect the Vitamin C, keeping it potent and help prevent it from oxidizing (turning brown) as quickly as traditional serums.
